After being a vegetarian for almost ten years I’ve come to the conclusion that one of the best methods of fasting for weight loss is to do a two day fast followed by another two days of moderate dieting. It’s very difficult to make it through a week with no carbs (no bread, pasta, rice, candy or chocolate) so my plan was to find some way to make a traditional, calorie restricted diet work for an extended period of time without breaking down my physique like the Atkins plan would.
