To install a car audio amp rack, you will need to know a few basic measurements before starting the project. The first step is to measure your car’s rear sheet metal. The rear sheet metal is usually of the same thickness throughout. To measure the distance between the two, use a tape measure. Once you’ve taken your measurements, line up the amplifiers on the rack. Make sure that there is enough space between each one so that the wires, power wire, and speaker cables can pass through. Once the amplifier rack is installed, you can attach the brackets to the frame with screws.
Once the brackets are installed, you can attach them to the back sheet metal. You can purchase these at a hardware store for a few dollars. After you have secured them to the rear sheet metal, you can add accent lighting to your rack by installing LED light kits. These kits are inexpensive and can add style and compliments to your car stereo. Don’t forget about the mounting hardware kit. You can get a kit with machine-quality threads for a few dollars.
